So here’s the big difference between how you’re photographed by me and how you’re photographed by others:
This groom-to-be here said that he was so filled with emotions during this portrait session. How often do you hear that from your guy?
And you know what?
You know why?
It’s because I don’t conduct the portrait session the same way as so many other photographers do.
It’s that plain and simple.
Here’s why. Lots of other photographers tell their couples what to do. “Look at my finger! At the count of three, jump… “
Or pose them like stick figurines.
I don’t do any of that stuff.
Here’s my secret.
I get my couples into a zone where they just focus on themselves and how they feel.
That’s the emphasis.
It shows. Big time.
(I may be the only artist this side of the Mississippi who does that. Maybe in the entire country.)
Anyway… then when that fleeting instance arises which makes me say “wow…” it could be a look on their face, a moment that speaks… it transcends the camera…
…that’s the instance I grab and toss into the camera to keep for all eternity.
That’s the difference.
And as you can obviously see in these portraits, that’s the way to capture real passion.
Beats that stupid stereotypical “hold the balloon. Jump in the air! Look at me and smile!” routine garbage, doesn’t it?
You don’t need to resign yourself to thinking you have to take silly stereotypic shots to have an engagement portrait. Many couples have already come to me for portraits like these.
Call me if you’d like a piece of artwork like this created of yourselves. 646-543-1321.
And guess what?
It won’t cost you a thing to do.
I’ll tell you more when you call. 646 543-1321.
