Old Westbury Gardens Wedding PhotoReviewed by G.E. Masana on Jan 17Rating:
When I photographed my first wedding I got to show the proofs to the couple in their apartment in New York City right at their kitchen table. I spread out the 4×6’s in front of them somewhat and sat back.
Together, slowly, they leaned forward to look. Silently. As if on cue, their expressions both changed from casual to beaming. They started to point out moments and people all of which then prompted them to bring up stories about their wedding they were excited to tell – and their faces glowed looking over their photos. They were immensely happy.
What power these tiny images held!
I had captured their feelings, their smiles, tears and laughter. And this, naturally, meant a lot to them.
