What’s very cool about engagement photos is there’s something that happens when I photograph couples.
Maybe because I’m not making them do the typical “jump-in-air” engagement photo shot, “make-goofy-face” shot or any of those fake faddish engagement pictures but instead I create an environment where they’re their true selves – and because of that – magic happens:
The couple opens up.
They open up and let me in to their private world to observe their innermost emotions and the way they express their feelings for each other.
You know creating this engagement photography gives them this piece of their life to hold onto forever. The engagement may be a short time of their lives but it’s a hugely significant one: it contains the history of when they met, fell in love… and chose to start new lives together. Whenever again they look at these photos, they’ll remember this significant turning point in their lives. This gives couples those meaningful memories to keep throughout all time.
That’s the power of engagement photos.
I’m always looking for couples to create engagement photos of. They don’t need to be wedding clients, they only need to want photos which have heart, are genuine and hold meaning for them.
