central park engagement photosReviewed by G.E. Masana on Oct 28Rating:
NYC is one of those gracious places where status of being an official New Yorker is conferred upon signing an apartment lease and no one’s an outsider. Which is why it’s such a great mix of cultures and people and cuisine and influences.
And for many engaged couples who come from other parts of the U.S., and because of career or adventure make NYC their home, the city becomes a part of their back story. For many, it’s the story of where they met. It’s the story of where they fell in love.
It’s the story they’ll be telling their children, their grandchildren, and every new friend they meet.
And even though their wedding plans may take them back home to wherever home used to be, they want to keep a taste of their adopted city documented and incorporated in their story somewhere.
And so, many times New York becomes the backdrop for their engagement photos. Naturally.
As with this couple. She from some other part, he from miles in another direction. They probably never would’ve met if they hadn’t both moved to NYC.
And so for their engagement photo session both agreed: it had to be Central Park. What could be more iconic NYC than Central Park engagement photos?
Yet when you look at these engagement photos, perhaps you’ll realize what you’re actually seeing:
It’s not about Central Park. You’re looking at this couple. And seeing how they feel.
