Wedding Photo Of The Week #35 | New York City Wedding PhotographerReviewed by G.E. Masana on Jul 6Rating:
It was a perfect wedding moment. And from it came a photojournalistic wedding photo to tell us about it.
During their wedding ceremony in New York City, this couple observed the time honored tradition of placing the wedding ring upon the bride’s forefinger, as custom for Jewish weddings.
This is a wedding photograph of that significant moment of the ceremony. The composition of this wedding photo looked exactly right to me, even though the moment itself was neither staged or posed.
In it we see the groom placing the wedding ring on her finger; the bride ready to place a ring on the groom. So yes, it’s wedding photojournalism, but who says it can’t be artistic? This photo is what I’d call, “art from real life.”
