The G.E. Masana Signature Wedding Album

The wedding album is a hand-crafted, library-bound album, approximately 14″x11″ in dimension. I chose to make my albums this larger size simply because it looks better when it comes to photography.

“Library binding” is the process where the hard-cover book’s pages are sewn into place and the spine of the book is reinforced. This increases the durability and life of the album.

Though the process is meant to preserve the book, by making the the book more of a solid block, it’s easier to open and handle as well.

The images are printed on archival photographic papers in the traditional manner, not ink jet. The papers then are adhered to a rigid substrate to reinforce the photos, making it so they won’t get dog-eared or creased. The adhesion material is also archival so it doesn’t eventually eat through or discolor the photo paper.

For the cover material of the book, I usually choose to have it wrapped in canvas which has had an image from the wedding printed on it, designed by me, onto it. This gives it the look of an artist’s painting, which then makes your album even more distinctive. Fitting for the one-of-a-kind work of art it really is.

This is the better, premium wedding album. It’s guaranteed for a lifetime by the book-binder. And because the papers are archival quality, we know the photos will last for generations.
