I was an illustrator in NYC before I ever picked up a camera. Now I’ve photographed hundreds of weddings in the New York City area and elsewhere. Won an international award or two along the way, got noticed by some national magazines. My wedding photography style was described as “Modern Classic” by Vanessa Penna, Beauty Editor at ELLE when she commissioned me as her New York City wedding photographer. I like that description.
Besides magazine editors, many of my wedding clients have been models, actors, directors, cinematographers, fashion designers, graphic artists, art directors, even a New York City art gallery owner. And while it’s really great how others in the arts appreciate the wedding photography I’ve created for them…
…I’ve also been commissioned to photograph weddings by many couples who aren’t in any art-related fields at all. Because they all desired distinctive wedding photography they can look back on in twenty years, fifty years, to share with children, grandchildren, and further generations. And every time, see a beautiful, emotionally filled, heirloom of their lives.
