New Wedding Albums!

The wedding album is my focus. Too many people are thinking only for the present, the here and now, looking just for a shoot and burn to a disc, yet I’ve discovered in creating albums, more artistry is devoted to the crafting of the final images, as there is more work to attend to in its creation. At least, the way I go about it.

As my clients know, I don’t view wedding albums as simply a housing in which to stuff photographs, but rather, I see it as a stand alone, one-of-a-kind piece of art that requires its own further refining and remastering of images. Even its page spreads are created as intact works, above and separate from anything that was photographed on the wedding day.

Crafting a wedding album yields a polished, amazing looking, archival product. These are well constructed, top of the line photography items that will certainly become a family heirloom, more so than any DVD could be.

Wedding photography is not for the here and now and to treat it in those terms does a disservice to ourselves. It’s for later, when you, and your future generations, people who haven’t even been born yet, wish to part the curtains of time, some to remember, some to reflect, and some to take a look back and see where they came from and who we were.

I’d like you to join me in giving our descendants our legacies.

Here are a few shots from a couple of album samples I’ve recently created, one featuring the Acrylic cover, the other a Canvas cover.
